Want more out of your Polaris 9R? Order the MTNTK Performance Clutch Kit. The 9R from the factory comes with light & revvy clutch weights, but this really limits the upshift and does not transfer the power to the snow that this motor is capable of. This clutch kit will reduce belt temperatures, and improve up shift under power while providing crisp back shift characteristics.
Driven Clutch: For the driven clutch is a full progressive ultra lightweight custom helix and a higher rate driven spring that makes for smooth power delivery and excellent belt life. Kit includes new small rollers to use the dual cut helix. Two helix cuts to fine tune for your riding. We tested this against large roller and 3 roller versions beating out both in all our testing and data logging! Includes Delrin washer for friction reduction between the spring cup and sheave.
Drive Clutch: In the drive clutch we include a higher rate custom spring that provides a slightly higher engagement without harshness. This really helps at higher altitude when the air is thin and power is at a premium. Also included are 3 adjustable weights. This gives you the ability to fine tune the shift if needed at any speed or rpm. Or you can just set it up with our recommendation and let it rip!
